Susan, the principal glass artist at BridesMill, produces works of art in glass for pleasure and as a form of meditation. Inspired by Art Nouveau and medieval styles as well has the natural surroundings of BridesMill, many of her works reflect the feminine aspects of divinity, and explore embodiments of the Goddess. While occasionally creating suncatchers for enjoyment or as personal gifts, most of her work is significantly larger. She does not do production work; each of her creations are originals. Susan uses both copper-foil and traditional lead techniques, sometimes incorporating kiln-fired paints and enamels. She also creates fused and slumped kiln-fired glass pieces, which can bee seen here.
